The cleric of the party, Lydia hates the Drow on principle, yet seems perfectly happy to consort with a Drow hero without a single word of hesitation. No matter who or what you play as, the story is exactly the same. One of the companions you get in the game is a Ranger, and I had no idea what their racial enemy was supposed to be, so I didn't know who to send them against or how to build their gear!Īnd then, of course, your character's race / class, which the NPC's don't even respond to at all. After character creation, you can't check what your alignment or your deity is supposed to be! This can really take you out of the immersion when you're playing a chaotic evil character and yet almost every choice in the game features the heroic path.Īnother GLARING issue is how Rangers can't check what their racial enemy is without writing it down somewhere.
